This Privacy Policy describes how PitStopr LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“PitStopr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the PitStopr mobile applications and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Information Collected

PitStopr collects personal information from Customers, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, vehicle information (including VIN, make, and model), service history, and real-time location data during active services.

Information collected from Technicians may include contact information, insurance documentation, background check results where applicable, ratings and reviews, and real-time location data during active services.

Certain information is collected automatically, including IP address, device identifiers, operating system information, and usage logs.

Payment information is processed by third-party payment processors, including Stripe. PitStopr does not store payment card numbers or sensitive payment credentials.

Use of Information

PitStopr uses collected information to operate and maintain the Platform, facilitate service requests, process payments, enable real-time service tracking, communicate with Users, provide customer support, improve Platform functionality, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and support artificial intelligence–based diagnostic features.

Artificial Intelligence Data

Information submitted through the Platform’s artificial intelligence diagnostic tool is used solely for informational output and Platform improvement. The AI tool does not provide mechanical advice or professional diagnoses, and any output generated is not a substitute for a Technician’s independent judgment or professional determination.

Information Sharing

PitStopr may share personal information as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform and facilitate services. This may include sharing information with Technicians to fulfill service requests, with insurance partners, analytics providers, marketing vendors, and legal or regulatory authorities when required by law.

In connection with a confirmed service request or work order, PitStopr may share a Customer’s and Technician’s contact information, including phone numbers, with each other for the purpose of coordinating, performing, and completing the requested services. Such sharing is a core and essential function of the Platform.

PitStopr does not sell personal information.

Communications

PitStopr may send Users transactional communications, service-related notifications, promotional emails, SMS messages, and push notifications. Users may opt out of marketing communications at any time in accordance with applicable law.

By creating or accepting a work order through the Platform, Users expressly consent to being contacted directly by the assigned Technician or Customer via phone call or text message using the contact information provided. PitStopr does not monitor, control, or retain responsibility for communications that occur directly between Users outside the Platform.

Users agree not to misuse contact information obtained through the Platform and acknowledge that PitStopr is not responsible for the content, outcome, or conduct of communications occurring outside the Platform.

Location Data

PitStopr collects real-time location data to provide service tracking, estimated arrival times, and status updates during active services. Location tracking ceases upon completion of the applicable service.

Data Retention and Security

PitStopr retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. PitStopr employs commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
