What services are available?

We offer oil changes, brake service, battery replacement, diagnostics, tune-ups, and many common repairs. Service availability varies by location—check the app for what's available in your area.

How does pricing work?

After your request is submitted, qualified technicians can send bids for the job. Each bid includes pricing and service details. You choose the bid that works best for you.

No work begins until you accept a bid.

What is Pitstopr?

PitStopr is a marketplace that connects you with vetted, independent mobile mechanics who come to your location to service your vehicle. PitStopr is not a repair shop—we facilitate the request, communication, and payment process.

How does payment work?

Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a trusted global payments provider. Your payment information is protected with bank-level security, and funds are only released after you approve the service.

PitStopr does not store your full payment details.

Is PitStopr available everywhere?

Availability depends on technician coverage in your area. Download the app to see if service is currently available near you.

Technician Questions

How do I become a Technician?

Download the app, submit your application with certifications and experience, complete our skills verification, and start accepting jobs. The process typically takes 3-5 business days.

How does Bidding work?

You submit bids based on your pricing, availability, and scope of work. Customers review bids and choose which technician they want to hire.

No work begins unless your bid is accepted.

How do I get paid?

Customer payments are processed securely through Stripe. Once a job is completed and approved, payouts are issued in real time.

PitStopr does not handle cash payments.

What Insurance is required?

Technicians operating on PitStopr must carry both:

  • General Liability Insurance

  • Garagekeepers Insurance

Proof of coverage is required during onboarding and must remain active to continue using the platform.
